Intergroup Monthly Meeting

Description: We invite you to attend our monthly intergroup meeting on the first Saturday of every month. Any member of our fellowship may attend. The meeting is held at St. John the Divine in Room L18. Enter the building through the doors facing River Oaks Boulevard, go down the stairs, and the meeting room is the first room on the right. If you cannot attend in person, you may observe via Zoom. Zoom attendees must have their camera on during the meeting. They may ask questions or make suggestions, but they will NOT be allowed to vote on motions. Attendance in person is required to vote on issues brought to Houston Intergroup. Call the hotline number for the meeting ID and password.

Description: Donation to Houston Intergroup may be made via Zelle or via check to Houston Intergroup. Our intergroup maintains the telephone hotlines and the website to serve as liaison with potential attendees, maintains the Zoom spaces for our online meetings, presents workshops and programs dealing with the addiction, and sends delegates to the annual national SLAA business meeting. Zelle donations may be made to houslaadonate@gmail.com PLEASE indicate in the space provided which meeting the donation is to be credited to. New Women's Meeting

Description: Sober Dating and Healthy Relationships is a S.L.A.A. Literature Study for Women, held on Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 10:30 am at The Council on Recovery, 303 Jackson Hill ST, 77007, Room B164. This women’s meeting focuses on learning to have healthy, nurturing, and spiritually grounded relationships — with ourselves and others — through reading and discussing SLAA literature.

Men's SLAA Springtime Walk, Lunch, and Meeting @ Brazos Bend

Description: The event will be at Brazos Bend State Park. We will meet at the Pavilion at Elm Lake. There will be a leisurely 2 mile walk around the lake starting at 10am. Afterwards we will have a cookout, and then a meeting. The event will conclude around 4pm. We are looking for volunteers to bring food items! Please see the Potluck sign up sheet. A QR code is on the attached flyer. RSVP to augustinefellowship@gmail.com so we can get an estimate of how much food is needed. The springtime walk will be a day of fun, fellowship and connection! A QR code with google maps directions is also on the attached flyer. There are sometimes alligators basking on the path, so it is recommended to keep small dogs on a leash at all times.
